Pakistani drama serial Qarz e Jaan has kept fans hooked due to its distinctive plotline starring Pakistani actors Yumna Zaidi, Usama Khan, and Nameer Khan in lead roles.
The reason behind Qarz e Jaan’s massive success might be due to the distinguishing concept that the serial revolves around. Let us give you some back story regarding the chart topping TV series in case you have not watched it yet.
Yumna Zaidi has played the role of a strong, independent lawyer who loves her mother to bits and pieces, to an extent that she is quite literally ready to sacrifice everything good in her life just so that her mother is content.
However, the serial has some gripping plot twists which have kept the fans completely entertained.
Moving on, Usama Khan has brilliantly played the role of an experienced or more appropriately brilliant criminal lawyer who Yumna refers to as her mentor.
While on the other hand Nameer Khan has depicted the character of Yumna’s cousin, an individual who possesses some serious anger issues and has also assaulted (raped) an innocent girl.
During the last two episodes aired four to five days a go, Nameer Khan ends up killing his sister’s husband because of an illegal property issue which the officer was investigating.
Let us now introduce you to Amaar (Nameer Khan) father: Pakistani designer and actor Deepak Perwani.
The popular public figure has played an extremely negative role in Qarz e Jaan, pairing up with his mother who is equally brutal, the pair is intent on creating as much distress as they can for Yumna Zaidi and her mother (Pakistani actress Tazeen Hussain).
Nashwa Behzaad (Yumna Zaidi) agrees to an offer made by Mr. Bakhtiar (Deepak Perwani) so that he would allow her mother to get married to her childhood lover as her husband passed away long time back.
In exchange for this ‘mercy’, Nashwa was ordered to marry Ammar in secret and if she attempts to take a divorce in the future, Mr. Bakhtiar indirectly threatens Nashwa that he would get his mother killed.
And yes, you guessed it right. Yumna Zaidi is quite blown away by Barrister Burhaan Asim (character played by Usama Khan), whereas the situation is quite similar on the opposite end as well.
After Nameer Khan kills his sister’s husband, he gets arrested by the police whereas Beenish (Pakistani actress Fajr Sheikh) returns home, highly disturbed because her in-laws decided to take her child away.
The drama serial teaches us an important lesson through the latest episodes hinting at how karma is always ready to strike, and the effect of this concept becomes more apparent during a scene in the previous episodes starring Bakhtiar, sitting solemnly on a chair, talking to his mother.
The man soba at the state of his children, unable to believe that his daughter’s husband has passed away.
We are impatiently waiting for the next episodes to air already. Is Barrister Burhaan’s fate entwined with Nashwa? Or the drama serial will have a depressing ending? What do you think? Feel free to leave your feedback in the comment section below.
