There is a serious controversy revolving around renowned Pakistani designer Maria B and popular Turkish influencer Turkan Atay, the digital creator calling the designer a complete fraud due to non-payment issues of a collaboration held between the ladies.
Turkan has posted multiple videos on her social media handle explaining in great detail regarding how social media stars have different methods of charging for shoots in Turkey which was first and foremost discussed with Maria B and also agreed upon.
However, after the admired influencer posted all the content revolving around her collaboration with Maria B, the brand paid her a small sum of money whereas the rest has not been paid yet and it has already been three months.

In response to this, Maria B posted a story on her social media platform stating: “At MARIA.B., we have always valued our partnerships with creators, models, and influencers, and we take pride in conducting our business with integrity, transparency, and respect for the creative community.”
The story further read: “Over the years, we have successfully collaborated with hundreds of influencers and content creators, ensuring fair compensation and mutual respect in all engagements. And we are proudly known for our best payment practices. In our 25 years, we have neither withheld payment nor retracted from our commitments. In the recent case involving a content creator, there was a regrettable misunderstanding that we were committed to resolve. At no point was the payment denied.”
“A meeting had been set up to address the issue, but the influencer chose to make a defaming reel instead of accepting to resolve the issue amicably. We regret the misunderstanding. We remain committed to supporting the creative community and continuing to build respectful, transparent relationships with all our collaborators. Team MARIA.B.”
The aforementioned declaration from Maria’s side has given rise to an extremely emotional reaction from Turkan Atay. In the latest video posted by the digital creator she has warned the designer that she has to issue a public apology otherwise she will have to pay.
Turkan has mentioned that Maria B is a complete fraud and she won’t take any kind of payment from the brand now.
The social media star put great emphasis on how the whole scenario could have been resolved peacefully by Maria asking for details from her team and issuing an apology whereas Turkan thinks that Maria likes to buy people through her money, a habit which is highly condemned by Turkan.
Turkan Atay further declared: “I will not stay quiet. Maria B and her team did not arrange any kind of meeting with me. I will definitely expose the brand also the designer has to apologize to me publicly.”
Turkan ended the warning message with mentioning various previous controversies attached to Maria B and further put light on how the Pakistani public figure has blocked the influencer from everywhere. Turkan also warned Maria B that she will take her to the court.

After the above-mentioned declarations put forward by Turkan Atay, Maria B decided to also put light upon her side of the story.
Maria first and foremost stated that the mistake had been committed by a junior PR girl while the brand was approached for a collaboration shoot from Turkan Atay herself.
The designer expressed distress on how she has already paid hundreds of dollars to Turkan while all of the dresses worn by Turkan for the campaign are still with her.
Moving on, Maria B once again emphasized on how the brand has not refused to pay the influencer, the brand has only delayed the process while on the other hand the team has also tried to contact Turkan but the digital creator is responding rudely.
