After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan has been announced, many Pakistani celebrities can be seen taking solace of the social media in order to announce how overjoyed they are, however some Pakistani stars are still being criticized for their former decision to work across the border even after getting resorted to unfair treatment by the nation in the past.

Our fellow netizen community fail to comprehend why these particular media personalities are so desperate to get featured in Bollywood, why do they choose to disregard all the insults directed at their homeland and themselves when it comes to working in the Indian entertainment industry.

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has been receiving endless hateful remarks for his choice to get featured in Indian films specially after the Pahalgam attacks, the celebrity’s latest Bollywood film starring himself and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor (Abir Gulaal) got banned in India, and ever since Fawad has been on the receiving end of a lot of negativity from the netizen community.

During the span of the latest episode of ‘Kya Drama Hai’, veteran Pakistani actress Atiqa Odho talked about how it is very crucial to not mix politics with art, she believes that artists are the real ambassadors of promoting their country’s image across the globe, and they should not be criticized for choosing to expand their career choices specially in our case.

Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan has been promoting a positive image of Pakistan through all of the projects he deemed fit to be featured in, through his impeccable acting skills, the star has always made our nation proud, let us not forget that.

However, some celebrities can be seen approaching Atiqa Odho’s stance regarding the topic at hand with complete disapproval, they have chosen to question the lady’s perspective to not mix politics with art, specially when it comes to defending your homeland, specially when a war is about to take place.

Atiqa Odho stated: “Our soft image ambassadors such as musicians, actors and writers, please I beg you do not drag them into all of this. They are people who want to distribute love and culture, they want to bind and grow together.”

She further mentioned: “My appeal to artists on both sides. please please you are soft image ambassadors, your job is to spread love, happiness and to entertain people. Please do not stoop to spreading toxicity and inflicting mental torture on people. Your job is to spread harmony and peace specially in difficult times.”

Pakistani actress Sabeena Farooq has also been witnessed diving into this spectacle, she strongly believes that only because a few artists did not choose to respond or show patriotism for their country, does not mean that people should blame the whole artist community.

However, Sabeena’s choice of words has ignited emotions of disagreement in another senior Pakistani celebrity Mishi Khan, who has chosen to respond to her by stating in the comment section: “Why not?? Are they from Pluto or Mars. It’s constructive criticism & not personal. Where our country is concerned nothing or no one matters if they are negligent.”
