Celebrated Persian Pakistani pop singer Mohammad Ali Shehkhi has appeared as a guest at the set of Mazak Raat during the span of which he put forward some heart-warming phrases regarding parents which we think deserve your attention.
When renowned Pakistani actor Imran Ashraf asked Mohammad Ali Shehkhi to shed light on the most depressing experience of his life, the veteran musician stated: “Walaidein ke bicharne ka. Jab meray walid is duniya se chale gaye, mujhe bohat bara jhatka laga.” (When your parents are no more. When my father passed away, I was in a state of complete shock).
He further mentioned: “My mother is alive and she is with me, I love her to bits and pieces. She has returned from Dubai and I am so happy, I can suddenly sense a lot of confidence in myself which was not present before. There is no replacement for parents in this world.”
Furthermore, the senior artist was seen reflecting upon the first time he fell in love. He narrated how he does not think that his love for the young lady was just a mere infatuation, it was serious.
Mohammad Ali Sheikh embarrassingly yet humorlessly stated that he was only in seventh class when this happened while the girl was in fifth grade.
Imran Ashraf then asked a tricky question from the musician which he was a bit hesitant at first to react to, the actor inquired: “App ne jitne bhi romantic gaanay gaye hai, gatay waqt unka chehra apni ankhoon ke saamne rakhte they?” (All the romantic songs you have sung so far, do you always imagine the face of your first love while singing them?)
To this, the singer responded: “An artist has to be in love all the time, whether it is your wife or whether it is your girl friend, whether it is something not existent in this world but in fantasy.”
However, when Imran asked Mohammad once again whether he used to imagine the face of his first love while singing songs in his early career, the veteran pop singer said yes.
